PCB Reschedules Two Matches of PSL 2025 Due to Heat and Operational Concerns
Multan Sultans vs Karachi Kings Match Shifted to Lahore
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a venue change for the May 1, 2025, afternoon fixture between Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings. Originally scheduled to be held at the Multan Cricket Stadium, the match will now be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, starting at 3:00 PM.
Lahore to Host Double Header on Labour Day
As a result of the venue change, Gaddafi Stadium will now host two PSL matches on May 1, which also marks Labour Day, a public holiday. The evening match between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators will proceed as per the original schedule, with the first ball set to be bowled at 8:00 PM.
Multan Sultans vs Quetta Gladiators Match Rescheduled to May 11
Another change involves the Multan Sultans vs Quetta Gladiators game, originally scheduled for the afternoon of May 10 at the Multan Cricket Stadium. This match will now be played on May 11 in the evening, starting at 8:00 PM, at the same venue.
Reason Behind the Changes
The PCB stated that the schedule adjustments were made after consultations with all stakeholders, taking into account operational convenience and recent heatwaves affecting parts of the country.
Ticket Refund and Reuse Policy Announced

Fans who purchased tickets online for the now-relocated May 1 game will receive automatic refunds in their original payment accounts.
Those who bought tickets from TCS Express Centres must visit these outlets for a physical refund. -
Ticket Use for Rescheduled Matches:
Fans holding tickets for the evening match at Gaddafi Stadium on May 1 can now enjoy both games as part of a double header.
Additionally, tickets already purchased for the May 10 match in Multan will remain valid for May 11.
PCB Apologizes for Inconvenience
The PCB has expressed regret for any inconvenience caused to fans due to the schedule and venue changes, while ensuring that the adjustments were made in the best interest of public safety and matchday operations.
