Quetta Gladiators Outclass Peshawar Zalmi |Ultimate Rewinds

 In the 17th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 held at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, Quetta Gladiators delivered a dominant performance to defeat Peshawar Zalmi by a convincing margin of 64 runs.

 First Innings: Quetta Sets a Competitive Total

Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and elected to bowl first. Quetta Gladiators made the most of the opportunity and posted a solid total of 178 for 7 in their 20 overs.

Opening pair Saud Shakeel and Finn Allen gave a steady start with a 46-run partnership. Allen scored 31 before falling, while Saud contributed a fluent 32. Kusal Mendis also added 32 runs, and Mark Chapman chipped in with 33. Rilee Rossouw played a handy knock of 27 to boost the middle order.

Among the bowlers, Alzarri Joseph was the pick for Zalmi with 3 wickets. Saim Ayub surprised with 2 wickets, and Luke Wood claimed one.

 Second Innings: Zalmi Falter Under Pressure

Chasing 179, Peshawar Zalmi’s batting line-up collapsed under pressure. None of the batters managed to settle, and they were bowled out for just 114 runs.

The Quetta bowlers maintained tight lines and applied pressure from the start. The failure of Zalmi’s top and middle order meant they never looked close to the target.
